What types of accounts do you have?
For personal banking we offer Above the Norm Checking and Above the Norm Market Savings. For business banking we offer BusinessSmart Checking and BusinessSmart Market Savings. Stearns Bank also offers certificates of deposit (CDs) to business and personal banking customers, as well as individual retirement accounts (IRAs).
Do you offer cash back on debit card purchases?
Stearns Bank offers 0.5% Diamond Cash Rewards on Above the Norm Checking debit card purchases. Up to $150 per month deposited into your account. No redemption required.
Is there a minimum balance requirement for the account?
There are no minimum balance requirements to avoid fees.
Is there a monthly fee?
At Stearns Bank we don’t think you should have to pay to be our customer. Some services do cost money but there are no monthly maintenance or activity fees.
Is there a fee for paper statements?
To help you manage your account, our checking products offer an online statement. If a paper statement is preferred, no problem! Paper statements are available for a small fee.
How do I enroll in online banking?
To enroll in online banking, contact an electronic banking specialist at 888.629.8707. Or visit StearnsBank.com, select “Login” at the top of the page, and click “Enroll in Personal Banking.”
How long does it take to receive my debit card?
Please allow five to seven business days to receive your Stearns Bank debit card. When the card arrives you can earn Diamond Cash Rewards on all your purchases.
Are there transaction charges?
Stearns Bank does not charge customers for basic transactions. However, complex transactions may carry fees. See your account fee schedule for specific rates.
Do you have automatic teller machines (ATMs) that do not charge a fee?
Our accounts include access to more than 32,000 ATMs across the country – with no fees. Look for the MoneyPass and Shazam logos. You also can find ATMs on the Locations/ATM page on StearnsBank.com.

How much money do I need to open an account?
You can open your account today and fund it later.
Can I access my funds right away?
Generally, you can access funds on the first business day after the date of receipt. You will receive a disclosure at account opening that explains when your funds will be available.
