Throughout her wide range of career experiences beyond banking, Melinda has always focused on one thing – people. She trusts that getting to know the person represented by each customer, client, or business owner is the key to finding how to best serve their needs. Once you know your customer, she says, your job becomes easy.

Since 2022, Melinda has incorporated her vast experience and expertise to match present and prospective customers’ needs with the very best Stearns Bank products. She believes great results follow a high pursuit of excellence and is motivated by exceeding company and personal goals every day. Personally, Melinda is motivated to choose to move onward and upward, no matter what happens or what others do.

When not at work, Melinda can be found spending time with or talking about her four children and eight grandchildren who live in Louisiana, Wyoming and Arizona. She enjoys many hobbies including photography, reading, watching movies or documentaries, playing word games, and is drawn to exploring the endless capabilities of her iPhone.
