Stearns Bank Announces Steve Domine's Retirement

St. Cloud, Minn. – Stearns Bank N.A., an employee-owned financial institution based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, today announced that Steve Domine has retired as President of Minnesota Community Banking and Senior Vice President of National Lending after his 43-year banking career – 33 years with the company. Domine looks forward to continuing his life-long career and dedication to Stearns Bank in a new consultancy role, focused on supporting Stearns Bank’s expanding local lending and specialty loan opportunities.
Domine started his career at Stearns Bank as a teller, then took on various banking and lending roles throughout his tenure, rising through the ranks of the organization. He oversaw management of community bank locations in St. Cloud, Albany, Pine City and North Branch; additionally, he was the President of Stearns Financial affiliates in Upsala and Holdingford (Minnesota) and was elected to the Board of Directors at those two banks. He provided leadership and extensive expertise to production and supervision of Stearns Bank’s nationwide construction, development and tax credit lending programs.“Steve’s leadership and many contributions to Stearns Bank are truly appreciated by the entire organization, and we thank him for many years of service,” said Kelly Skalicky, the President and CEO of Stearns Bank.

In addition to his consulting work with Stearns Bank, Domine is looking forward to spending more time with his other passions, including cars, golf and grandkids.
