Stearns Bank Announces Second New Board of Directors Member

St. Cloud, Minn. – Stearns Bank N.A., an employee-owned financial institution based in Minnesota, announces that Deb Lorenzen has joined the Stearns Bank N.A. Board of Directors. Deb is Managing Director and Head of Enterprise Data Governance for State Street Bank in Boston, MA. In her current role, she is responsible for leading and advancing firm-wide data governance capabilities in support of business, client and regulatory objectives.

Before entering her current position, Deb served as the Chief Operating Officer for portfolios of industry leaders State Street Global Advisors and BNY Mellon.  She has led significant efforts in the process of streamlining global operations through the implementation of the “digital workplace,” including broad use of social technology, interactive simulations, video and gamification. She received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno, her MBA from Columbia University Business School and is a part-time Adjunct Professor teaching Executing Strategic Change as an elective in the Providence College MBA program. Deb also serves as a member of the Advisory Board for Global Female Leaders, a premier economic forum and network for female executives worldwide.

Deb’s addition to the Board of Directors follows Kathy Persian - Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Schwan’s Company - who joined the Board in early March.
