We’re pleased to welcome you to Stearns Bank.

As part of a recent transaction with VersaBank USA Holdingford branch, your accounts will transition to Stearns Bank, N.A., effective June 29th, 2026.

Our priority is to make this transition as simple and seamless as possible. Most of your banking services will continue without interruption, and many aspects of your account relationship will remain unchanged.

In addition, you will now have access to all Stearns Bank branch locations, expanded ATM access, and additional banking capabilities over time.

Key Dates

  • Friday, June 26th, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST: Online banking access through VersaBank USA will end.
  • Monday, June 29th, 2026, after 8:00 AM CST: Stearns Bank online banking access will become available.

What’s changing?

Online Banking and Bill Pay
Beginning June 29th you will need to enroll in Stearns Bank Online Banking and Bill Pay at www.stearnsbank.com.

Please note:

  • Existing online banking credentials will not transfer

  • Bill Pay history and payee information will not transfer
    • We recommend downloading any statements or Bill Pay information you wish to retain prior to June 26th

Your new Stearns Bank debit card will arrive by mail within the next few weeks. Upon receipt, please keep the card in a secure location until the acquisition is completed on June 29th, 2026.

Important Information:

  • Your current VersaBank USA debit card will continue to work through 8:00 am CST on June 29th, 2026.
  • Your new Stearns Bank debit card cannot be activated or used until after 8:00 am CST on June 29th, 2026.
  • Activation instructions will be included with your new Stearns Bank debit card.
  • Once activated on or after June 29th, 2026, your new Stearns Bank debit card will be ready for use.

What will remain the same?

Unless otherwise communicated, the following will remain unchanged:

  • Account number
  • Direct deposits
  • Automatic payments and withdrawals
  • Loan terms and payment instructions
  • FDIC insurance coverage
  • Existing checks
  • Safe deposit boxes

Monthly Statements

As part of the conversion, statements will be issued on June 26th from VersaBank USA and June 30th from Stearns Bank. Going forward, they will be generated on the last business day of each month.

Expanded Access with Stearns Bank

As a Stearns Bank customer, you’ll now have access to:

  • All Stearns Bank branch locations
  • Expanded ATM access
  • Additional banking products and services such as Zelle and International Wires
  • The same local customer support backed by the Stearns organization
