Our History

Stearns Bank was originally chartered in 1912, with the current owner and CEO, Norm Skalicky, purchasing majority ownership in 1964. Since then, Stearns Bank has grown from a rural agricultural bank to a nationwide full-service financial services company with more than $1 billion in assets. Stearns Bank has been recognized nationally for top performance among banks across the nation.
